Cannes 2018: Kangana Ranaut has set a major hair and makeup trend inspired by the 1960s and we love it!

It's here!! The prestigious Cannes Film Festival began on 8th of May and will go on up till the 19th of May. The film festival is held annually in Cannes, France. The fest previews new films of all genres, including documentaries from all around the World. If there is one person who is majorly responsible for bringing the festival to light in India, it has to be Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Freida Pinto, Vidya Balan, to name a few are Bollywood celebrities who have graced the red carpet.

Kangana Ranaut too joined the bandwagon and served us a retro look before slaying the red carpet. Ranaut is easily the queen of vintage fashion. She has sported the retro look many-a-times in her films and also during media interactions. Her retro look came in as a fresh surprise and boy, she looked so pretty! The Queen actress, opted for a 60s inspired look for her debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Kangana kept it classy in a black heavily sequins half and half Sabyasachi saree which she draped in the classic form. She teamed her saree with a jadau pearl choker. It was her makeup and hair however, that won us over. Her hair was styled in a short 60’s bouffant hairstyle with the perfect winged eyeliner and minimal makeup.

If Audrey Hepburn was Indian, she would look quite similar to what Kangana was looking. We love!

We absolutely love how Kangana made the whole look, look so effortless and easy chic. We are 110% sure that this look is surely going to raid the fashion scene and will become a major trend as it is pure classic. We also cannot get over the fact that she pulled off a heavily sequins saree with so much of elan.

There’s a reason why she is always on top of her fashion game and that is majorly because of the fearlessness that she possess in taking risks. Bow down to the Queen.
