The ‘Gimme More’ singer is the new face for Kenzo’s new La Collection Memento N 2 line

The Princess of Pop, Britney Spears has landed her first ever major fashion ad campaign and her fans are over the moon (which means almost everyone). The singer took to her Instagram account to share this happy news. She is the new face for Kenzo’s new La Collection Memento N 2 line. The ‘Baby One More Time’ singer has been a part of the industry for over 26 years but is looking younger than ever in her ad campaign.

The images of her campaign was shot by Peter Lindbergh and the everything pours out 2000s magic. The first image feature Spears wearing a denim trucker hat, cropped green sweatshirt that shows off her lower back tattoo and a small red coloured backpack. However, it was the second look which won us over completely. Britney is seen recreating her famous all-denim red carpet look from 2001’s American Music Awards. She donned a denim hat, denim jacket, denim tie-up thigh high boots and a denim underwear; this one gives us the real Britney Spears feels.

The 36 year old revealed in a press release, “I was really flattered when Kenzo approached me to be the face of their line. I love the brand, and with denim being a big part of this collection, it made it that much more appealing to me since denim is such a part of my own style." Kenzo’s La Collection Memento seems to be taking major cues and inspiration from Spears’ sense of style, her head-to-toe denim love and the brand’s own well-documented history.
