Blake Lively is one of Hollywood’s most loved actors who is also widely appreciated for her fashion choices and sense of style. The actress is one of the most influential celebrities and lives life on her own terms. In spite of living such a high profile Blake refuses to hire a stylist. Ms. Lively has to be one of the best dressed Hollywood celebrities and she does it all by herself.

Be it her promotional wardrobe or her red carpet appearances, Blake is solely responsible for these wonder looks. When the mother of two was asked why she refuses to keep a stylist, she said, “"Probably because I have control issues and a big ego - that’s probably the honest answer." Lively further elaborated,  "I love design and I love fashion and it’s a way to be creative. In my job I get to be creative, but it’s over a period of time and so many other people are involved, whereas this is a beginning, middle and end, and I get to be creative and there’s an end date in the near future. It’s the same reason why I like doing my friends’ hair and makeup or cooking - you get to be creative and finish it. Whereas with my job you do it and then two years later it’s finished."

Our very own Serena from Gossip Girl has given some stunning MET Gala looks for over a decade and the 30 year old is already in talks with major fashion designers just before the mega event. "I just sent Lorraine Schwartz and Christian Louboutin my dress, and said, ‘Ok let’s do something special,’" she revealed. "They’re making something custom for it. So it’s kind of nice, because I have a bunch of artists around me who I have direct relationships with. It’s sort of a group effort with that. I rely on people who do that for a living rather than outsourcing it to someone else."

The theme for this year’s MET Gala is 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination' and it will focus on the "dialogue between fashion and the masterworks of religious art". As per reports, the outfit in the making has already taken upto 600 hours and it is not even close to completion.

Well, we just can't wait to see how she slays the red carpet this time around as well. Are you excited? Comment and let us know.
