Bharat’s costume designer, Ashley Rebello spilled the beans on Katrina Kaif’s bridal look in the film

Salman Khan’s Bharat has released and needless to say has opened to roaring numbers. Indeed it was an Eidi from Bhai for all his fans and the film did live up to the expectations and hype it created. The film is divided into five generations and manages to create an impact throughout. Apart from it being the complete “masala entertainer”, it is also appreciated for its foot-tapping songs, impeccable detailing and its costumes.

Ashley Rebello, Salman Khan’s personal stylist, is one of the costume designers of Bharat. He threw light on the Catholic wedding sequence in the film featuring Katrina Kaif. Rebello, who holds an expertise in designing Catholic wedding gowns for the past 18 years sure did do justice to this particular look.

While talking about his experience Ashley mentioned how difficult it was to select the right fabric, tones of white, the silhouette and flow and finally putting together the whole look with the perfect hairstyle, which would do justice to Katrina's beauty. After several attempts & alterations for the  bridal gown, Ashley & Alvira Khan Agnihotri came up with the final design which she wore in the film and looked like a dream.The designer also insisted on how only the side swept hair bun. Well, we clearly couldn’t have agreed more.

Katrina, in the past has donned the white gown for her films like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Namastey London. The beauty will soon be seen in Dharma Productions’ Sooryavanshi, co-starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Rohit Shetty.
