Balenciaga’s $850 platform Crocs were sold out even before being officially released
The shoes were available online for pre-order on Barneys website for $850 on February 1, 2018 and were sold out within a few hours
Crocs by far are the most comfortable pair of footwear and everyone swears by it. It’s airy, easy and less fussy. However, fashion critiques have not been fond of this current ‘IT’ item. Fashion enthusiasts are smitten by Balenciaga’s $850 platform crocs which were sold out even before they were released.

The rubber sandals were hinted to be making a comeback when Scottish designer, Christopher Kane, debuted his rock-emblazoned Crocs at his spring/summer 2017 show.
The ‘Foam’ platform shoes have gone on to become a huge hit and managed to sell out even before they were officially released. The shoes were available online for pre-order on Barneys website for $850 on February 1, 2018, and were sold out within a few hours.

Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga introduced the 10 cm platform version of the iconic Crocs which was once dubbed as the “dad sandal”. The overall collection was inspired from the 80s which brought in a quirky twist and fans have been loving it.
