Angelina Jolie shimmers yet again in a black Versace gown for the premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

At the premiere of her latest film, Anglina Jolie gave us yet another idea on how to wear a black gown for the red carpet. The 44-year-old looked stunning as she celebrated the release of the Disney film and was joined by all her children, except Maddox who is off to college, on the red carpet of the film which also features Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer. 

For the event, the actress didn't take us by surprise as she donned a classic black gown. But she did give the one-shoulder number an interesting twist!

The skintight Versace gown featured flowy fabric draped from one-shoulder and went waist-down. What stood out though, was a silver jewelled Scorpion broach on the shimmering number which added a touch of glamour to the floor-length number. It also featured her favourite leg slit which showed that she sported it with black stilettos. 
She kept her makeup simple with a well-contoured face, moody glossy lips, filled in brows, well-defined eyes and loads of highlighter to complete her glamorous look. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek bun with not a strand left lose, making her look powerful and fierce, much like her character!

Elle Fanning also made an appearance on the red carpet in a pistachio green Gucci gown which featured jewel spaghetti straps, off-shoulder sleeves and a pleated bodice with floral accents. 
Sheer white gloves completed her look. 

We love how well Angie carried off the look but couldn't help but wish she experimented with something other than the classic black gown that she wears to almost every red carpet event.
