Angelina Jolie ditches black for a GLAMOROUS metallic fringe Ralph & Russo gown at the Maleficent premiere

It is known by now that Angelina Jolie is a huge fan of the classic black gown. She has been wearing various versions of it at all her events and appearances with minute changes like opting for a metallic black version, a velvet version or an outfit encrusted with a scorpion! She prefers her gowns to be streamlined and look classic and glamorous at the same time. 

Taking a break from this, the actress left fans, followers and fashion critics speechless as she switched things up and opted for a more dramatic gown at the most recent premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in Tokyo. 

Jolie amped up the glamour in a golden metallic fringe dress by Ralph and Russo Couture which bore multiple tiers of jewel-encrusted fringe and metallic beading in gold and silver. The halter-neck dress also hugged her figure and showed off her slim silhouette. She accessorised her look with sarkling drop diamond earrings and matching metallic pumps. 
Taking a break from her glossy mane being styled with a side part, the Hollywood star sported a half-up do which showed off her crystal clear skin, well contoured face, defined bronze eyes and a maroon-brown lip. 

Angeline Jolie very obviously stepped out of her comfort zone by picking an outfit that was ultra glamorous and didn't have a slit. Taking it further she even changed her makeup look by styling her hair differently and opting for a lip colour in a shade other than blood red or a neutral hue.
