The high-low dress has been trending for a while now. The style which is short on one end and long on the other, can vary and look great or terrible based on how it is styled and by whom. Mamma Mia actress Amanda Seyfried tried her hand at the style most recently at the premiere of her film The Art of Racing in the Rain.

The actress donned a sunshine yellow strapless dress by Oscar de la Renta for the event. The outfit featured a yellow and white stripe combination and faded into white making for the most gorgeous ombre design. She paired this with minimal jewellery and let her dress do all the talking by styling it with white strappy stilettos. The front half of her high-low dress ended at her calves while the black featured a long train that came with lads of layers of sloped fabric making it look more natural.

Her luscious locks were parted in the centre and styled in a poker-straight manner. Her makeup on the other hand was perfect for the event - bright touched-up skin, loads of mascara, filled-in brows and glossy red lips completed Seyfried's look.

We thought Amanda looked absolutely stunning in the outfit which featured blunt hemlines and the bright colour which complemented her skin. On the red carpet, she not only posed with her co-star Milo Ventimiglia and the two golden retreivers who were there in the film!
