Alia Bhatt puts her desi foot forward in a colourful Sabyasachi saree: Yay or Nay?

Alia Bhatt has been on a roll lately The actress is busy shooting for Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor. But she took some time off to attend an event where she received an award for her performance in Gully Boy where she starred opposite Ranveer Singh!
For the event, Bhatt put her most colourful foot forward. She picked out a saree by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The saree bore multi-colour stripes and sequins with a thick embroidered border. She paired it with a strappy blouse that featured a plunging neckline that also bore loads of embroidery. She draped the multi-coloured outfit well around her.
For accessories, she picked out beaded dangling earrings by Sabyasachi too.
Keeping the rest of her look simple and letting her outfit do the talking, Alia went for a no-makeup dewy glam look. A flawless base, barely-there highlighter, peachy cheeks, glossy lips, loads of mascara and filled-in brows completed her look. Her hair was parted in the centre and pulled back into a sleek bun while a small black bindi between her brows made for the complete desi look.
We thought Alia looked stunning in the outfit put together and styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel and her team. We love how she kept her makeup simple and let her colourful outfit do the talking. The saree was draped well around her, making her look no-less than a model in the multi-hued number!
