Alia Bhatt to Deepika Padukone: Celeb inspired ways to incorporate violet hue to stand out in the crowd
Violet is the offbeat shade of elegance that can make anyone look like a diva. Check out how Bollywood celebs are doing it!
If red is the hue for love then violet is for romance. This mix of red and blue is a statement-making colour and it's always looked up to as a luxe, royal shade that oozes elegance. When everyone goes with the usual shades of red, black or white, violet is quirky and different and easily grabs attention. That's the power of violet. The swearing-in ceremony saw an abundance of violet making it the popular colour of the season, which is not only elegant and classy but also a show-stealer! Here is how our B-town divas have been relying on violet to strike a perfect look.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt sported a monochromatic look with a bright violet jumpsuit by Galvan London. She effortlessly pulled off the offbeat shade and this can be your winning choice to ace your date night look. She ditched accessories as it seemed irrelevant to add any more elements when you are in a bright statement-making colour. The Kalank star was the epitome of simplicity in her minimalistic look with her hair pulled back in a ponytail and a no-makeup face.

Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi rocked the violet body-hugging dress by Dubai-based label, Alina Anwar Couture to an event in Mumbai. Her strapless gown featured a thigh-high slit with pleat details and a side trail. The asymmetric hemline and ruched detailing all over make it a perfect choice for a cocktail party. Janhvi styled up her look with shimmery metallic heels from Sophia Webster and opted for minimalistic layered jewellery. Her neon nail paint gave contrast to her violet attire and we loved this element of surprise.

Shraddha Kapoor
The Baaghi actress wore a lighter shade of purple pantsuit by Safiyaa with a neon vest inside. Her style looked top-notch. Though it's a very common silhouette, the colour of her outfit gave it a unique touch. Shraddha rounded off her look with perfectly contoured cheeks, filled-in brows and nude lips.

Kriti Sanon
Putting her best fashion foot forward, Kriti Sanon donned the sparkly violet gown by Zara Umrigar. The encrusted backless gown featured a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit and fitted her perfectly. She complimented her look with purple smokey eye makeup, pink lips and her hairstyle gave retro-glam vibes. She rounded off the look with gold strappy heels by Tresmode.

Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone opted for a classic violet Alex Perry gown for Crystal Award 2020. With a knot detail at the waist that accentuated her envious curves and cape sleeves that gave it the princessy vibes, the stunning gown spiked her glam quotient sky high. With statement earrings and her trademark sleek hairdo, the Piku star looked picture perfect.
