While we wait with baited breath, here’s a major throwback of all the Cannes looks of our beloved divas.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Day 1

She came and she conquered! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was breathtakingly beautiful on Day 3 of the Cannes Film Festival. The Cannes legend looked like royalty in her baby blue embroidered gown by Michael Cinco. The fitted bodice and the dramatic skirt was a no brainer when it comes to the Cannes red carpet. The big gown needed minimal styling and her simple hair and make up rounded the look out perfectly.

Though this is not the first time her stunning appearances have been spoken about, this one definitely beat the rest and took the fashion game many notches higher. Needless to say, the look was well received by fans and media globally and within minutes, Aishwarya made it to the 'Best Dressed' lists and became a hot topic amongst famed international fashion enthusiasts.
Day 2

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan kickstarted her Day 2 in Cannes with a bunch of interviews. She wore a black strapless, pleated and layered dress by Ashi Studio from their Fall 2017 collection. Her hi-low hem dress was styled with a pair of black sandals and a bright tangerine lip. For her second red carpet appearance, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted for another ball gown. Her red embroidered bodice gown by Ralph and Russo, featuring a tiered skirt with a train looked gorgeous on her. The strapless gown was styled with a darker maroon lip, dangling earrings and soft curls.
Day 3

And she's here! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did a round of interviews today for Day 3 of Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked ethereal in a Yanina Couture ensemble. She is seen wearing a green tissue, maxi dress with a plunging neckline. The dress has layers, multi-coloured embroidery on the waist and floral embroidery all over the dress, which added the perfect feminine touch. She accessorised the look with a bejewelled ring and a couple of bejewelled bracelets stacked. She wore her hair in voluminous big curls. For makeup, she wore ombre pink lips, frosty eyeshadow, a well-contoured face and a sleek eyeliner.
Look 2

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did a quick outfit change for another round of interviews on Day 3 of Cannes Film Festival. Her choice of outfit was an elaborate lace gown featuring embroidered halter, sweetheart neckline and a flouncy skirt by Mark Bumgarner. A pair of chunky sandals, voluminous hair and her signature red pout added finishing touches to her look.

Day 1
Look 1

She started her day out with a round of interviews and also shooting campaigns for a cosmetic brand in a floral printed, ruffle detail gown by Johanna Ortiz. While the gown was pretty on her, we loved the contrasting green eye make up, which added more drama to the look.
Look 2

For another set of interviews, she sat down with the media looking fabulous in her silk satin slip dress by Galvan. The halter neck dress fell amazingly well on her slender frame and the look was amped up with her top knot and smokey eyes.
Look 3: Red Carpet

Deepika Padukone made her Cannes debut tonight as she graced the red carpet for the prestigious film festival. Her red carpet look was a marsala hued tulle gown by Marchesa from their Fall 2017 collection. The one shoulder gown with an embellished bodice looked stunning on her. The sheer fabric gave us an opportunity to appreciate her toned frame and added a hint of sexy to the otherwise whimsical gown. A matching lip color and casually tousled hair rounded her look out.
Day 2
Look 1: Red Carpet

Deepika Padukone did a minimalistic chic look for Day 2 appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. In contrast to her first look, she wore a simple Brandon Maxwell gown. Her one-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit and a long train was a perfect marriage of elegance and sexy. Since she was there to represent a makeup brand, I love how she complimented her look with matching eye makeup, which adds the required oomph to the whole look.
Diamond earrings by De Grisogono and sandals by Chloé Gosselin played for perfect accessories for the look that she was going for.
Sonam Kapoor
Day 1
Look 1

Her first look was (no prizes for guessing!) Anamika Khanna look which included an embroidered mustard bralet, matching flared pants and a red cape. Gorgeous jewels from Apala by Sumit, pink tinted makeup and a red turban rounded her look out. I love when she does Indian at International events. Also, the turban just took the whole look to another level.
Look 2

For her second look, she paid an ode to the French Riveria in a custom hand painted 'waves' sheer kaftan by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, which she wore over a white fitted dress and accessorised look with Noor Fares Jewellery. A sleek bun and a pink lip rounded her look out.
Look 3

Her final look included a custom neoprene cropped trouser saree by Masaba Gupta. She added gold tones to her outfit via jewellery from Suhani Pittie, her IWC watch and rounding out her look was an Edie Parker clutch.
Look 4: Red Carpet

Sonam Kapoor stunned as she walked the red carpet on Day 5 of the Cannes Film Festival. Wearing a custom haute couture gown by Elie Saab, her blush pink embroidered lace gown with exaggerated sleeves and a train looked pretty on her. I really appreciate the thought process that went into the whole look, which included custom-made earrings and hand harnesses by Kalyan Jewellers as they added a touch of Indian glam to her look. Soft curls pulled back in a braid and a pink lip punctuated her look.
Day 2

For her second outing to the Cannes red carpet, Sonam Kapoor wore another custom Elie Saab Haute Couture creation. Dripping in gold tones, she looked nothing short of a Golden Goddess. The fitted gown with a voluminous train hugged her body in all the right places and the look definitely had the wow factor that we look forward into a Cannes gown. The look was styled with Chopard jewellery, a matching clutch and glittery smokey eyes.
