Alia Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty, Disha Patani: India Couture Week 2017 - who-wore-what

The India Couture Week 2017 has finally come to an end and while we saw some really beautiful pieces and ingenious designs curated by the best designers of the country and flaunted by fabulous models who walked down the runway. Here is a look at our very own Bollywood celebrities who graced the ramp and looked like a million bucks on the runway. 

1. Alia Bhatt for Manish Malhotra 

Manish Malhotra finished this Couture Week with a bang! With Alia Bhatt gracing the ramp for him. While the blouse with plunging neckline and HEAVY-HEAVY embellishments were a winner, we are not so sure about the brown tulle lehenga. A veil pinned in her hair and a bright red lip punctuated her look.

2. Ranveer Singh for Manish Malhotra 

Ranveer Singh brought swag to the runway as he finished the show for Manish Malhotra. Ranveer looked sharp and festive ready in her midnight blue embroidered sherwani with patterned straight fit pants. Black shoes rounded his look out.
Ranveer's bandh gala style sherwani, midnight blue kurta along with silver embellishments on it a silk flowy layer underneath looked great! 

3. Aditi Rao Hydari for Gaurav Gupta

Aditi Rao Hydari walks the ramp for Gaurav Gupta's Couture collection at ongoing India Couture Week 2017. Aditi wore a grey fitted gown with a floor sweeping flamboyant and fun trail attached at the waist. The gown had sheer inserts on the back and sleeves with silver embellishments on it. 

4. Shilpa Shetty for Monisha Jaising

Shilpa Shetty walked the ramp for Monisha Jaising's Couture Collection show. She wore a high slit one shoulder gown- made of banarasi silk. The gown had a sweetheart neckline on one side and an elaborate sleeve on the other. We love this new and modern twist Monisha gave to the good old banarasi silk. 

5. Dia Mirza for Anju Modi

Dia Mirza walked the ramp for Anju Modi at the ongoing India Couture Week. She looked like royalty in this beautiful lehenga. She was seen wearing a velvet, maroon, plunging neckline blouse with gold embellishments on it. Paired with a flowy lehenga. A fresh face of makeup, red lips and heavy Rajasthani style jewellery rounded her look. 

6. Disha Patani for Manav Gangwani 

Disha Patani walked the ramp for Manav Gangwani. She looked like royalty in this black ensemble. She was seen wearing a blouse with tassel details all over it along with big elephant motifs on the lehenga. While the blouse was pretty the big motifs were too big and the making tikka was a Debby downer for this look. 

7. Bhumi Pednekar for Renu Tandon 

Bhumi was a vision in blue and gold for Renu Tando's show. She wore a jacket style choli with gold embroidery all over it along with a voluminous lehenga. Drop earrings and centre parted hair with a fresh face of makeup rounded her look. .

8. Athiya Shetty for Shyamal and Bhumika

Athiya Shetty was the show stopper for Shyamal and Bhumika. She was also seen wearing a glittering and shimmering jacket style blouse. A Kundan choker necklace with fresh makeup and poker straight hair were the perfect addition to this look. 

9. Huma Qureshi for Rina Dhaka 

Huma Qureshi has always been one of Rina Dhaka's favourite muse and doing it again she walked the ramp for Rina Dhaka at the India Couture Week 2017. She wore a ruffled beaded lehenga with sheer details. The blouse and lehenga were a miss-match and the look was also ill-fitted. This outfit just did not cut it for us. 

10. Vaani Kapoor for Amy Billimoria

The beautiful Vaani Kapoor was recently in the capital city attending The Indian Cotoure Week 2017 and she also was the showstopper for designer Amy Billimoria. 
Vaani was seen wearing an ivory lehenga that featured a well-fitted blouse with tiny silver sequin all over it. The beautiful lehenga had white embroidery with sequin all over it. The hem of the skirt had old gold zardozi on it. She finished the look with a sheer dupatta with scallop hem and sequin gold polka dot all over it, along with one side tied around her wrist. 

For hair and makeup, she wore her short hair tossed in soft curls and a heavy shimmery golden smokey eye and fluttery lashes. She wore the gold eyeshadow along with her lower lashline and in the inner corners of her eye to make them appear larger. She wore pink glossy lips, with a creamy face of glowing makeup and peachy hued blush on her cheeks. Well shaped eyebrows beautifully rounded her look.
