Style File : Who Wore What on Day 1 of IIFA Utsavam
IIFA Utsavam aka IIFA for the South Film Industry was held in Hyderabad last night with the leading ladies gracing the green carpet.
Here's a breakdown on who wore what!
1. Parul Yadav in Caroline Hayden

Glittering in a sequined Caroline Hayden gown, Parul Yadav embraced her curves in this form fitting gown featuring a plunging neckline. The column gown in its fire-y red hue was such a bold look that I wish she had kept her lip colour neutral and went for dramatic black smokey eyes.
2. Hansika Motwani in Hanna Touma

Hansika walked the carpet wearing a Hanna Touma gown fitted gown. The thigh high slit gown with an ombre beaded bodice and long sleeve fit her well and was styled with metallic sandals, simple hair and a pale pink lip.
3. Adah Sharma in VRK Silks

Ditching glam gowns, Adah wore a traditional silk saree, from her mother's closet, by VRK Silks. It was nice to see her don an Indian look, but the way she styled it took the look from fashion to a costume. We are not fans of this look.
4. Pragya Jaiswal in SVA Couture

For the green carpet, Pragya opted for a black and gold embroidered lehenga set by SVA Couture. Her embroidered top with shoulder cutouts and ribbon sleeves was paired with a lehenga skirt with a red lip and soft updo rounding her look out.
5. Rakulpreet in SVA Couture

Also wearing SVA Couture was Rakulpreet. Her grey lehenga skirt and choli was teamed with a matching cape and her diamond earrings and finger cuff complimented her look well.
6. Rashi Khanna in Dolly J

Amalgamating east and west, Rashi wore an ooff-shoulder shirt blouse and an embellished lehenga set by Dolly J. The off shoulder neckline made way for stunning traditional choker and she finished her look out with a coral lip and a sleek low bun.
7. Amyra Dastur in Papa Don't Preach

Amyra wore an embellished lehenga by Papa Don't Preach by Shubhika. I do like the baby blue on her, but the drape of the dupatta looked dated and not cool.
8. Sonal Chauhan in Shriya Som

A silver beaded gown with a sheer yoke and a floor-sweeping train by Shriya Som was Sonal Chauhan's pick for Day 1 of IIFA Utsavam. Between the beading and the fringe, it was a little too much for us.
9. Laxmi Rai in Label D

Laxmi Rai graced the green carpet wearing an emerald green fitted gown by Label D. The gown with its V neckline, waterfall detail bodice and oversized bow looked chic on her. However, I wish she had picked another pair of earrings.
So there you have it. Now you tell us the looks that worked for you and the ones that you didn't like.
