Oscars 2017 best dressed: Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Biel and more

Oscars 2017- The film fraternities most coveted award show took place earlier today morning. 

The Oscars are award season’s biggest night! What fashion lovers look forward to the most is the gorgeous couture, impeccable hair and ingenious makeup looks everyone adorns on the red carpet.

1. Jessica Biel

While Jessica Biel wowed everyone at the Golden Globes, she worked a risky number yet again as she chose a metallic Kaufman Franco gown. Even her husband, the hottie Justin Timberlake said she looked just perfect. 

2. Emma Stone

Channeling the old Hollywood glam, Emma looked stunning in a golden embellished flapper dress. Emma won the well-deserved best actress award for La La Land. Much like her movie, Emma too looked like Hollywood perfection in this glamorous, golden Givenchy gown. A swingy fringe added to the drama, and her finger waves and red lips complete the look. 

3. Brie Larson

Larson was seen in a custom black velvet strapless v-neck gown with a ruffle hem from Oscar de la Renta and did manage to grab eyeballs. That neckline. Those ruffles. This dress is sexy and chic. 

4. Hailee Steinfeld

She took the limelight in an exciting Ralph & Russo gown. Ornamented with soft florals, the look was sharp, fresh and refreshing.

5. Taraji P. Henson

Proving the old adage "less is more", Henson is perfection in a midnight blue velvet off-the-shoulder dress. The Hidden Figures star looked like a vintage in an Alberta Ferretti gown. A dazzling diamond necklace by Nirav Modi was the icing on the cake.

6. Octavia Spencer

The best-supporting-actress nominee for Hidden Figures accentuated her curves and shined in a full and feathery Marchesa gown. On the risk of sounding cliche, diamonds are a girl's best friends and Forevermark Diamonds topped off Octavia Spencer's fun and fabulous look.

7. Viola Davis

Davis, who took home the Oscar for best-supporting actress for her role in Fences, looked luminous and radiant in a beautiful Armani Prive gown. She was a winner even before she walked out onto that stage. 

8. Kirsten Dunst

Kirsten Dunst's gown was anything but your basic black dress. The dramatic shape of this Dior gown added so much element to the look. A shorter hemline shows off the Hidden Figures actress' shoes.

9. Naomie Harris

Who says you need to only wear a gown on the red carpet. Working a knee length dress with a high-low hemline, Naomie Harris makes it to our best-dressed list.  Harris' short white Calvin Klein dress says party in the front and cocktail in the back. And those yellow shoes made the perfect statement.  

10. Nicole Kidman

An Armani Prive high-neck column gown with interesting embroidery and a nude hue made a subtle statement on the "Lion" actress, all perfectly finished with a bold red lip.
