There are some matches that are made in fashion heaven and sisters, Sonam and Rhea's duo is one such match. Winning second time in a row, we have Sonam Kapoor as the Best Dressed Female of 2016. I mean was that even a question? And twinning with her is her gorgeous baby sister, Rhea, who is our winner for the Best Stylist of the Year Award.

Giving us one major look after the another, this Kapoor sisters jodi is unstoppable. Their most impressive work together would have to be at the Cannes Film Festival. This year the duo teamed up with another amazing duo, Ralph and Russo. Their creative geniuses together gave us some jaw dropping, goose bumps inducing looks at the coveted film festival. Be it her white gown or the floral applique dusty pink gown or the baby blue saree inspired gown at the AmFAr, the whole run was flawless.

Sonam has always been a fashion star and it's Rhea's impeccable sense of style that has really helped Sonam reach that stature. The best thing about them is that they are original. None of Sonam's looks are referenced to any other star. And that is their biggest strength; that they leave their own stamp with each look that they do.

Rhea and Sonam have given us some really cool looks this year - like the metallic Rimzim Dadu saree, the edgy Proenza Schouler dress, the caped Ferragamo or the fashion forward Diogo Miranda look. And these are just a handful from a sea of amazing looks.

Even when Sonam is doing Indian, her looks are flawless. This Nikasha saree with a strapless blouse and the silver choker was one of my fav. The overall printed Masaba saree was so refreshing and the pink hand embroidered Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla is one that you can pass on to your future generations.

While they do get to enjoy the finest of couture from around the world, case in like the Delpozo look she wore or the first time any Indian actor wore Stephane Rolland, they also try and promote new Indian designers - like Pella, Bhaavya Bhatnagar or Chola by Sohaya.

In the fashion world, they are truly a force to be reckoned with and we can't thank them enough for making our inner fashion geeks happy in 2016.

Hope the reign continues in 2017!
