EXCLUSIVE : Fashion Flashback 2016 : Fashion Debut of the Year

Every year a lot of new actors join the glitz and glamour of B-Town and only a handful are able to make a lasting impact, especially when it comes to fashion and style.

If you have sisters as talented and fashionable as Sonam and Rhea Kapoor, it comes as no surprise that 'Mirzya' actor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, is our pick for the Fashion Debut of the Year title.

We were excited to see what this young hearthrob would wear for the promotions and boy, he did us proud. What immediately caught my attention was how skillfully and effotlessly he and his stylist, Abhilasha Devnani, layered his kurtas (mostly Raghavendra Rathore) with suits (his go to brand is Zegna) and added a fun twist with a pair of sneakers. His style has a very inherent sense of laid back chic with clean cuts and he does clean up well in a sharp fitted suit too. From smart bomber jackets to printed suits, we are definitely keeping our eyes on this one for major fashion inspo in 2017.

Now Vaani Kapoor may have made her Bollywood debut back in 2013, but the actress got her first big break this year as a lead actress with 'Befikre'. Her promotional style for the film included dresses and pant suits that every girl would want in her closet and gowns that are fit for a modern day princess.

She, with her stylist Mohit Rai, started out big in a gorgeous blue Alexis Mabille gown and ended on a high note as well in her stunning Ashi Studio look. In between, she wowed us with her feathered Ferragamo, ravishing red Rimzim Dadu metallic dress, high street H&M separates and retro polka dotted Ashish N Soni.

Her style is fuss free and she has the ease to make every look expensive and effortless. With more films in her kitty, we hope 2017 too is a style winner for her.
