The Pinkvilla fashion review : Befikre
Just like Paris is basic and classic, Befikre's style too captures the essence of the city in which it has been shot.
The whole style of the movie is true to its characters and actors. Be it Vaani's daring, who-cares attitude or Ranveer's childish and quirky character. Their personalities are clearly reflected in the way they dress.
Starting with Vaani:
She is seen wearing this one cap that reads 'who cares' in French! Baseball hats are huge right now and Vaani's hats went seamlessly well with all her looks. For the initial part of the movie, she is seen romancing in Paris's summer, wearing, T-shirt tied up as a crop top with shorts, short dresses with long-line utility jackets, leather shorts with T-shirts, leather leggings, leather skirts with tops and jackets, floral dresses with oversize patchwork denim jacket, acid wash skinny jeans with high neck velvet crop tops, denim skirts and dungaree dresses!
As her character matures she is seen in solid color shift dresses and long structures coats. Keep an eye out for this stunning midnight blue lace gown she is seen wearing in the second half.
Moving on to Raṇveer, he is not seen wearing much in the movie and we are not complaining one bit!
For the parts that he did decided to put clothes on, here is what he wore: full sleeve shirts worn open over vests, with jeans and white sneakers or jeans with crew neck t-shirts. Some really nice pastel hue suits and jackets were our favourites!
Overall the movie had some great style, we loved every look. However, we don't see any trends coming out of the movie and there was nothing prodigious!
