Asia Vision Awards were held in Dubai recently and Sonam Kapoor was awarded with the 'Best Actress' trophy for 'Neerja'.
She looked stunning in a black velvet gown by a US based designer Caroline Hayden. Her long sleeve high neck gown with paper bag folds drop waist looked sensational on her.
A chic updo, diamond jewellery and a black tassel clutch provided the finishing touches.
This all black velvet gown with its severity is not the easiest to wear, but Sonam makes it work and looks better than the look book model.
