Bollywood actresses are hands down the biggest style influencers in India and together these ladies are trying to make the no pants trend happen!

Pioneered by the Kardashians, who rock the no pants look on the regular, this trend has been wildly picked up by our very own Bollywood celebs.

This cool new street style trend of wearing oversize shirts and T-shirt paired with knee-high boots is called Lampshading. Simply put, lampshading is wearing a pair of over-the-knee boots with a broad hemline that hits above or right at the top of the knee and pairing it with oversize t-shirts and shirts.

So, are we trying to say that Bollywood actresses are taking inspiration from Lampshades on how to dress? Well fortunately or unfortunately yes!

Keep scrolling to see how celebrities pull off lampshading:

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam lamp-shaded (Yes, we just coined the word!) to the airport as she wore a grey oversize tee with knee-high boots, Lennon, and curly locks!

She was also seen rocking marsala boots under a maxi dress.

She went black on black as she wore her leather knee-high boots with a black shirt and layered it with a statement jacket.

Pairing denim and leather together, Sonam sported this trend to the airport again as she wore a denim oversized shirt with knee-high leather boots.

Deepika Padukone

In her latest appearance, Deepika was seen in a tattered oversized sweater with knee high boots and a metallic jacket.

She was also seen wearing a beautiful Roberto Cavalli dress with her thigh-high boots!

Print overdose, Deepika wore a printed oversize dress with boots to the airport.

Padukone was also spotted at the airport wearing the trend as she wore a high-low hemline white shirt with knee-high boots.

Deepika's love for her thigh-high boots is oh-so-evident, as she wore them with a Balmain dress while promoting her movie!

Katrina Kaif

The leggy lass flaunted her toned legs in a striped Alexander McQueen shirt dress and knee-high boots!

Priyanka Chopra

PeeCee showed us that she is the real royalty as she paired her sweatshirt with thigh-high velvet boots.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya sported this trend on screen, as she wore a slip dress with boots in the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Jacqueline Fernandez

The actress strutted the streets of NY, skipped her pants and went straight for knee-high boots!

Malaika Arora Khan

Looks like Malaika is a huge fan of the trend! She wore a bell sleeve, oversized top with brown suede boots and a cross body bag to match.

Malaika paired her Sabyasachi dress and partied in style as she paired the look with thigh-high suede boots.

Amrita Arora

Looks like the Arora sisters have rather similar tastes and Amrita too is a huge fan of this trend.

She wore leather on leather, with a leather mini dress worn with thigh-high boots.

She was also spotted at a party wearing an overcoat over her dress paired with super high boots

This off the shoulder white top paired with thigh-high boots is the perfect monochromatic look!

Doing the lampshading trend on point, Amrita wore her t-shirt dress with thigh-high boots.

Shibani Dandekar and Monica Dogra

Shibani and Monica went the monochrome route as she paired her white shirt with thigh-high velvet boots.

Navya Naveli Nanda

Navya channeled Kylie Jenner as she wore a printed tee with thigh-high boots!

Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha wore a midi dress and threw the print in with her boots!

Surveen Chawla

Surveen wore the trend at a recent event with brown lace-up neckline dress and knee high boots and chokers!

Will the conspiracy work on the rest of the population? Only time will tell.
