LFW 2016 : A Look at Masaba's upcoming Collection
Designer Masaba had made a big name for herself in the Fashion industry in a very short span of time. She has time and again impressed everyone with her fresh take on fashion and use of quirky prints.
With her presenting her latest collection at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week, we can't wait to see what she has in store for us.
While we wait for her collection, here's a sneak peek at some of the sketches from her upcoming work. Her collection this time is inspired by iconic works of Matthieu Venot (an ace French photographer ) & Katrin Bremermann (a celebrated German artist).
The designer has incorporated the artists' detail oriented art with her signature prints, staying true to her aesthetic.
Juxtapositioning Indian and Western elements, the collection includes pieces like pencil - shaved frill pre-sttiched Saree, voluminous garbage bag pants, Angarkhas layered with the traditional kurtis, deconstructed blazers teamed with a draped dhoti skirt form the key silhouettes for the season.
Are you as excited as us?
