20 Years of Sabyasachi : Kalki Koechlin and Aditi Rao Hydari support the designer at his show
Aditi Rao Hydari and Kalki Koechlin at 20 Years of Sabysachi Celebrations
Designer Sabyasachi completed his glorious 20 years in the business this year and to celebrate this monumental milestone he organised a show in Mumbai tonight. There were a lot of celebrities who were expected to attend the event including Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Kalki Koechlin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Christian Louboutin. Kalki and Aditi Rao Hydari have been great admirers and fans of Mukherjee's work and they did take their FROW seats at the show to support the designer.
Kalki Koechlin looked adorable in a heavily embroidered dress from the designer. Sabya's forte is Indian bridal designer wear and this dress was his take on a more day to day garment and was shown in different patterns during his recent shows in the past few years. The shift dress with long sleeves and embellished hem looked adorable on her and she carried it off so well. The black clutch and the perfect nude pumps rounded her look out. The hint of gold on her ears was the perfect finishing touch.
In contrast to Kalki's look, Aditi Rao Hydari wore a simple printed look from the designer. Her nude and green printed saree had no bells and whistles and was teamed with a matching long sleeve blouse. She didn't over accessorise the look and just added a pair of earrings to her look and wore her hair back in a sleek ponytail. I do wanna love the look, but there's something kinda boring about it. I wish she had picked something better.
