20 Years of Sabyasachi : Alia Bhatt stuns in a head to toe printed look
Alia Bhatt attended Sabyasachi's 20 years celebration show in Mumbai. She looked stunning in a green paisley printed saree look.
Designer Sabyasachi completed his glorious 20 years in the business this year and to celebrate this monumental milestone he organised a show in Mumbai tonight. There were a lot of celebrities who were expected to attend the event including Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Kalki Koechlin, Alia Bhatt, Aditi Rao Hydari and Christian Louboutin. Alia Bhatt has been a great admirer and fan of Mukherjee's work and she attended the show wearing one of his most recent designs.
She looked pretty and perfect in a green and yellow paisley printed saree from Sabyasachi's yet to be released collection. The flowy, tiered saree was teamed with a matching yellow gold one shoulder blouse. The look was styled with a signature gold Sabyasachi belt, which helped break the monotony of the print. This look could have been a look but I like how she styled it, and that is minimally. The fresh, dewy make up, the earrings and hair worn back in a sleek yet teased up ponytail.
Since Alia is a great fan of the designer, I think it was cool of her to debut a piece from his new collection on the carpet, thus giving us a sneak peek on what to expect from the show. I also like the belt detail where the strap was the same print as the garment and only the Sabyasachi leopard motif was visible, which was enough to break the head to toe pattern.
