Yay or Nay : Rani Mukerji at 'Mardaani' Anthem launch
Oh Rani! Where do I begin??
Rani's look at the 'Mardaani' anthem video launch was all kinds of wrong. I get that she was trying to channel her character from the look, but it just didn't work.
First for the positives, I actually love the dark lip against the light grey. But that was just about it. The look had a lot of potential, but the execution failed.
I like that she matched her blouse to her blazer. But if she had to add a blazer to the look, she should have opted for a simple blouse. The high gathered neck detail blouse with the blazer just added unnecessary volume to the look.
Also, those pumps!!!! The best shoe choice when u do pants is to go for a strappy sandal... like the Saint Laurent single strap one. If she had to wear pumps, she could have done a pointy one with a cropped cigarette pant.
Also, I think her hair is a little too long. I wish she would chop some of it off just to freshen up her look a bit.
