Top 10 Rani Mukherjee Looks - Saree (in recent times)

A friend of mine who is a huge Rani fan, asked me to create a post on Top 10 Rani Looks.

So, i started out with my little Research work and half way through i realized that Rani's best looks were in sarees. (There were FAB looks in western attire too) So, i decided to drop the idea of my usual Top 10 Looks and instead focus on her Saree Looks so that i could do complete justice to my post.

The thing that I absolutely love about Rani's Saree Style is that she does not wear the typical Sarees like other actresses. She brings an earthy, very traditional and Indian feel to them.

So, step aside Aishwarya, Kareena and Vidya.... Rani is my SAREE QUEEN.

1. It was a very difficut choice between the first two looks. But i decided to go ahead with the White and Golden Saree and crown it as my Favorite Rani Look. She looked Gorgeous in this saree at Durga Puja. I love all the Golden Jewellery, adds that Indian touch. Extra Love to the Bindi and pulled back Hair.

2. I just cannot stop gushing over this look. She looked oh so cute in this Orange cotton Saree, worn at a Book Launch. The braided Hair made the look even more interesting. Love Love Love.

3. For Imran and Avantika's Reception, Rani opted for a cheerful yellow Saree teamed up with a Green Blouse. I love the Saree and the Red Border. Again, extra points for the Bindi.

4. Rani attened the Dada Saheb Phalke Awards Ceremony, wearing a White Saree with Golden work on it. It amazes me to see that despite the Saree being so Simple, she still manages to look so Beautiful. Golden Chand Bali Earrings completed her look.

5. Sabaysachi considers rani as his muse and Rani is often spotted wearing Sabya's creations. I loved this Checkered Saree on Rani which she wore at Durga Puja's celebrations. And extra love to the Jhumka earrings and the long beaded Necklace.

6. Another Durga Puja EVent and another Stunning appearance. Simple yet Elegant.

7. I loved this Black and Golden Saree which Rani wore at the Stardust Awards this year. Loved the Red Blouse. This look also got featured on my Top 10 Red Carpet Looks - 2011.

8. Rani looked superb in this Plain White Saree at another Durga Puja Celebration. The Red and Black border is really nice and Hoop Earrings completed her look.

9. Beautiful in Blue - is all i can say about this look. The Saree looks amazing on her with that Orange Blouse. Beautiful Chand Bali Earrings completed her look.

10. A great end to a Series of Great looks, Rani looks Red Hot in this saree at Mumbai Poilice Event. I love the way she keeps her looks so simple.

P.S. There was this another Saree which Rani wore at an event where she handed over an award to Dalai Lama. I could NOT find a proper picture, so missed out on that one.
