Gauri Khan is not just SRK's stylish companion, without doubt the First Lady of fashion. Whether dressed in couture, a churidar or chastity belt over a Dolce & Gabbana, Gauri always gets it right. She emits an aura of grace and sophistication.

A regular on Best Dressed list, she is sharing some of her fashion secrets here...

# Fashion mantra: Gauri doesn't like to take herself too seriously and always has fun with fashion. Shahrukh loves her to see in white shirt and jeans. Her shopping is always spur-of -the-moment.

Fortunately she just always finds out something she wants. Gauri is that rare breed: a woman so comfortable in her own skin that she dresses only for herself.

# Dress code: Earlier she used to love wearing really fitted clothes and not care about comfort but now she needs things that she can slip into. Comfort is the key factor in her style and, despite her petite frame. "What I wear really depends on my mood and I always keep in mind that I am the wife of a very successful man.", Gauri explains.

Gauri chooses cargos, tees and flip-flops for the day. She hates tight revealing outfits. She might show off her toned dancer's legs (she trained under Shiamak Davar) but chooses to cover up in relaxed tops.

# Accessory time: Gauri Khan indulges her love for shoes, especially boots - her wardrobe is stacked with patent YSL pumps, embellished Jimmy Choos and Manolo Blahinks.

# Love for bags : She stays far away from the over-hyped 'it' bags. "It's too boring, I love Bottega Veneta's classic oversized bags but the rest are like a uniform. Everyone carries them."

# Favourite designers: "Joseph - I love everything, especially their dresses - and Dolce & Gabbana. I bought their dresses and corset belts this season - there is a lot of sensuality to the clothing. It's very feminine."

# Shopping destinations: You can often spot her strolling down London's Bond Street or experimenting with make-up on the ground floor of Selfridges. Despite her wealth, she loves to spend her time at Cheap Jack, an odds-and-ends store near her home in Bandra, looking for borders, buttons and trimmings.

# Fashion critic: Son Aryan is Gauri's biggest fashion critic.
