Wearing uncannily similar Manish Malhotra floor length anarkalis were Madhuri Dixit and Parineeti Chopra, with Parineeti having sported this outfit first. Both outfits were Chinese-collared empire line silhouettes with kashmiri embroidery on the sleeves plus dupattas and a thick border. While Chopra’s neckline was adorned with embroidery on Madhuri’s, it was the waistline which was the highlight. Both ladies styled their hair in similar side-swept loose curls. But in our books, neither nailed the look-while the cut is too overwhelming on Madhuri, Parineeti’s choice of colour is too washed out.
