Designer of some of the drool-worthy gowns Sonam Kapoor has been sporting lately. What I like about her is her clean and simple yet elegant look. Not OTT like Manish Malhotra or the usual bollywood designers.

Twenty seven year old Ayesha Depala started out her design career with the launch of her line I-SHA in 2002, after stints at both the prestigious Central St Martins School of Fashion, and The London College of Fashion in UK. With the success of the I-SHA brand came the consequent launch of her signature line AYESHA DEPALA, under which she presents both ready to wear and couture.

Ayesha designs for the modern woman who appreciates style and quality. She pays great attention to the finish of the garment. Her clothes are sexy and feminine, and there is something for everyone in her boutiques.
Ayesha's presence in India has brought a fresh new sensibility to Indian fashion with elegant dreamy dresses and separates and razor sharp tailoring. Married two and a half years ago, Ayesha shuttles between her homes in London, Dubai and India, enabling her to keep her finger on the pulse of the global fashion scene and the influences of her travels are clearly visible in her collections. With her boutique in New Delhi, and her successful Dubai boutique shortly moving to a new location, Ayesha has firmly put her stamp on the fashion scene. With her expansion plans which include retailing in the international cities of Paris and London, she is rolling full steam ahead.

Design Philosophy Ayesha Depala's clothes are classic yet contemporary. Her specialty is without a doubt, eveningwear. Her passion is to create gorgeous, beautifully draped chiffon gowns and cocktail dresses. Details are prevalent in almost everything she designs.
