Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, Lady Gaga: Best and Worst looks from MET Gala 2019
MET Gala took place last night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Institute, New York
Fashion’s biggest night - the MET Gala just took place and we were bowled over. This is probably the only event wherein all our favourite celebrities and the big wheels of the industry let their creativity take center stage. The ball took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Institute, New York, last night and the theme this year is Camp: Note to Fashion. So let’s find out the best and worst dressed from the Ball.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Trust Priyanka Chopra Jonas to own the floor wherever she goes. Priyanka aced the Camp theme to the T by donning a custom made Dior gown. The nude-beige outfit was restyled with feathers of multiple hues which looked absolutely stunning with rhinestone embellished tights. Her hair and makeup was definitely the stand out which created quite a stir. Her husband slided in the look inspired by Petyr Baelish from Game of Thrones and we were all for it!
Deepika Padukone

Bollywood’s Queen, Deepika Padukone too graced the pink carpet at the MET Gala. The Barbie inspired look featured a strapless corset fit with an exaggerated and layered architectural skirt with crystals. We absolutely love her hairdo, definitely something out of her comfort zone. No doubt that she looks gorgeous but we think that she should have gone out a bit more extra as it was the MET Gala.
Lady Gaga

Leave it to Lady Gaga for showing multiple looks all nestled in one. The singer/actress donned a larger than life hot-pink Brandon Maxwell gown which required sex men and women (including the designer himself) to carry it around on the pink carpet. The highlight was how she started taking off one look after the other putting forth four looks. Front bangs, exaggerated lashes and her dramatic expressions rounded off her look.
Kylie Jenner

Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner strutted down the runway in a lavender feathered sheer figure hugging dress and even matched her wig to her Versace gown for the pink carpet event.
Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid owned the red carpet wearing a metallic outfit by Michael Kors. The supermodel donned a bodysuit and threw in a feathered jacket in the same hue which swept the floor. Exaggerated eyelashes, translucent gloves and dangler earrings completed her look. Bowled over!
Kendall Jenner

Coordinating her outfit with sister Kylie Jenner, supermodel Kendall Jenner also picked a feathered dress in bright orange. The sisters apparently came up with their look "together" to give a fun vibe to the event!
Zendaya

While we get it that Zendaya was inspired by Cinderella and well, she made it quite evident as she was accompanied by her stylist Law Roach, playing the fairy godmother..But we really arent sold. But however, she did bring the fairytale to life by dramatising the whole event of losing her glass slipper on the pink carpet. The metallic blue gown with bouffant white sleeves and the classic Disney princess hairstyle finished off her look.
Jared Leto

Jared Leto brought the Gucci Fall 2018 memory back to life by carrying a replica of his very own head as an accessory! Yep! He donned a red Victorian ensemble with bouffant sleeves jewelled all over. We like!
Kim Kardashian West

KimYe walked in together and boy Kim surely managed to grab all the eyeballs in seductively “Wet” outfit by Thierry Mugler. The nude outfit perfectly enhanced her curvaceous body and those 3D water droplets added all that extra bit of oomph factor. Her signature nude face of makeup and brush down sleek hair finished off her look.
Cardi B

Cardi B hands down wins the award for the biggest train in this incredible blood-red number. The singer was dressed in an exaggerated gown, covering her head and acting like a heavy weight blanket. Dramatic eyes and a red pout finished off her look.
Cara Delevingne

Bringing the rainbow back to life was Cara Delevingne in Dior. The transparent outfit with stripes in rainbow complimented the model perfectly. What we absolutely loved was her dramatic headgear and her flawless makeup. We love this one.
Special word for Harry Styles who carried out that fab genderfluid outfit by Gucci giving an ode to the Victorian age and laces.

Ezra Miller for giving us the mad optical illusion of the multiple faces. A man truly has multiple faces and he owned it with this one. Also brownie points for that jewelled blazer and the long cape.

Katy Perry definitely channeled her inner sass and brought to the pink carpet a very “lit” version - quite literally of herself. Katy donned a custom-made bejewelled tube dress by Moschino. A headband with filled in eyes and nude lips completed her stunning look, special mention to the larger than life chandelier.
