MTV VMAs 2019: Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Miley Cyrus and more best dressed celebrities of the night

At the big musical event, stars didn't hold back. From the boldest and brightest shades to outfits that bore skin, covered up and more. The biggest music names from Hollywood, models, actors and more made their way to attend the event and rocked the red carpet. 

Taylor Swift

The You Need To Calm Down singer donned a custom made Versace outfit on the red carpet and opened the show in the same. A printed blazer dress that she wore over a pink braded bodysuit that she styled with thigh-high crystal encrusted Christian Louboutin boots made her look stylish on the red carpet. Simple gold hoop earrings completed her look. She opted for her classic red lip and beach blonde hair styled in lose waves and glittery eyeshadow to complete her look. 

Camila Cabello 

The Senorita singer wowed in a white Balmain ruched gown which featured a high-low hem, a cascading train and side cut outs. She kept her look simple with basic diamond studded earrings and rings. Basic eyeliner and her voluminous curls left lose ensured she sizzled on the red carpet. 

Miley Cyrus

Cyrus sang her lungs out to her latest single Slide Away in a backless black mini dress which is very much in line with her signature style. She styled it well with chunky metal neckpieces, rings and bracelets to keep her look simple yet classy. Her blonde hair was styled into lose beachy waves and hung around her face for which she opted for a dewy look, kohl lined eyes and peachy pink lips. 

Gigi Hadid

The supermodel opted for a full beige look in Tom Ford for the event. A corset-style strapless top paired with high shine trousers and metallic Tom Ford pumps completed her look. She accessorised this look with layered gold chains and stacked up rings. 

Cardi B

The musician walked up on stage to accept an award in a brilliant red customised dress by Deviant La Vie which featured a plunging neckline and intricate cut outs on the waist. It was body-hugging till her hips. The dress came with a matching choker and she accessorised her look with bolg golden cuffs on her wrist and matching strappy stilettos. 

Bella Hadid

For the red carpet, the supermodel donned a co-ord set by Charlotte Knowles which featured a ruched skirt and suspenders that attached her crop top to her skirt. Beige strappy stilettos and iconic gold hoops with her hair pulled back into a high ponytail and cat eye lined eyes, completed her look. 

Hasley

In a Dundas gown, the singer styled her outfit in a completely different way and we are loving it! She donned a black bra and matching briefs set over which she donned the tangerine ruggled Dundas ruffled and layered gown. Over this, she wore a black corset with silver studs and completed her look with strappy black stilettos. She incorporated a bit of pride into her look with the colours painted on her poker-straight hair!

Hailee Steinfeld 

In a bright red Aadnevik sheer gown the musician and actress donned the dress which featured side slits and matching red stilettos. Keeping up with the bright tone she opted for red lips and nails while her glossy hair was styled in a poker-straight manner. 

Zara Larsson

The musician donned a lavish Giambattista Valli powder pink ruffled and off-shoulder gown which featured a sweeping long train. A silver choker, stacked up rings and silver strappy stilettos completed her look. 

Heidi Klum

The model donned a sparkling black LBD by Nedret Taciroglu for the event which featured a plunging neckline, exaggerated shoulders and a cut out heart at her neck. A basic black clutch and strappy heels completed the model's look while her hair was styled in a poker-straight manner. 

Shawn Mendes

The Senorita singer who crooned to his number on the stage donned a forest green suit over a sheer black shirt and a white tank. Black beaded neckpieces and suave black shoes ensured he rocked the red carpet look. 

The Jonas Brothers

Looking dapper as ever, the trio opted for extremely different looks for the red carpet. While they all wore Fendi, Nick Jonas opted for a more chill look in a zip up shirt and matching balck pants, Joe for a double breasted blazer suit and Kevin for a simple black tee and jeans combo styled with a zip up jacket. Safe to say they looked dapper as always!
