MET Gala 2019: Kylie Jenner made Kris go blonde for the ball

This year’s MET Gala was one of the best that we’ve had in the past few years, clearly. Well, for the ones wondering why so, we think all the credit goes to the celebrities and the industry big wheels who stuck to the theme and went all out to make a statement. The theme for this year’s ball was Camp: Notes to Fashion and boy, it had us bowled over! One highlight of the mega event was seeing Kris Jenner grace the pink carpet.

Yes, when we first saw the momager we actually thought it was one of the Kardashian/Jenner girls. You cannot really blame us giving their striking similarities, duh, obviously! What really was different was momma Jenner’s blonde hair. Kris spoke to E! Live and revealed that it was her daughter Kylie’s idea. She said, “A couple of hours ago Kylie decided I should be blonde. She just told me, “Mom, there's no black hair tonight.”'

Kris Jenner wore a custom made jumpsuit which she layered with a jacket from Tommy Hilfiger. Jenner was surely in high spirits as she strutted down the pink carpet with her long-time boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

The event was definitely a Kardashian/Jenner studded affair. Kim Kardashian West looked absolutely sultry in a nude body-hugging Thierry Mugler outfit which featured 3D crystals to showcase water droplet effects. She walked in with her husband Kanye West and according to us absolutely owned the event. Jenner sisters - Kendall and Kylie were in attendance too and were seen wearing elaborate feather outfits in pop colours.
