The star-studded Lux Golden Rose Awards saw some of Bollywood’s greatest beauties on the red carpet. The show was filled with divas like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many others. The stars slayed the red carpet in their beautiful gowns and flawless makeup. Now, it is time to see who made it to our best and worst dressed list.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

The Begum of Bollywood grazed the red carpet with her presence in a dual coloured Prabal Gurung gown. The red and pink gown with waist cutouts and thigh high slit was a perfect fit for the ever gorgeous Kareena. We now know that the regular visits to the gym have made her look even more stunning.

Alia Bhatt

The 25-year-old actress opted for a strapless sequined number by Netta BenShabu. The metallic gown had a lace strapless bodice with a mermaid trail. The bridal gown was styled with soft curls grazing her shoulder teamed up with flawless makeup. We loved how she carried the entire look with grace and elegance.

Jhanvi Kapoor

Just like Alia Bhatt, Janhvi too opted for a bridal gown. The Reem Acra creation beared a lace bodice with a tulle that grazed the red carpet. Her hair was styled in a bun with floral pins around it. Soft curls framed her face. Her princess moment was complete with her glowy makeup. We thought her look was too bridal for the red carpet.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

It wasn’t at all difficult to spot Aishwarya on the red carpet. She wore an Atelier Zuhra gown with full sleeves. She was head-to-toe in red. The outfit was a column gown with sequins and mirror work. We think that the gown was a very bold choice given that the other divas were dressed in elegant gowns.

Madhuri Dixit

The beautiful Madhuri wore a custom made pink gown by Swapnil Shinde. The highlighter pink creation was synched at the waist. We definitely loved the long cape sleeves on her but it just didn’t go with the dress as a whole.

Karisma Kapoor

Karisma chose to wear a Reem Acra halter neck gown. The black halter bodice had an open back with a silver pleated skirt. The gown was a perfect representation of Kapoor’s classic taste. She completed her look with a pulled back bun and soft smokey eyes.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline wore an icy blue Maison Yeya creation. The gown had beautiful drape details with a high low hem. She accessorised the look with a diamond necklace. The ensemble was styled with glowy makeup and a sleek top knot. We think that the look was apt for a pageant rather than an award show.

Taapsee Pannu

Talking about poorly dressed, Taapsee wore a dramatic gown by Fouad Sarkis Couture. There were silver roses all over the gown truly apt for the Lux Golden ‘Rose’ Awards. With elaborate shoulders and uneven hem, the gown had too much going on. The red lips and long earrings just added more to the already bold look.

Isabelle Kaif

Sister of the Bollywood diva - Katrina Kaif, Isabelle sure knows how to look stunning in any outfit. However, her choice of clothing for the Lux Golden Rose Awards raised our eyebrows. She opted for a flower number by Andrew Gn. We thought that the outfit would have been more appropriate for a summer party than for an awards function.

Chitrangda Singh

Singh opted for a Reem Acra net number for the awards night. The gown was a pretty pastel colour with moon like embellishments around the waist. She styled her look with dark lips and loose wavy hair. The outfit was accessorised with a diamond necklace. However, we think that the fit of the dress could’ve been betterfor a more finished look.

Nushrat Bharucha

The Punchnama actress also chose to wear a pastel gown, but this time by the brand Dolly J. The gown was synched at the waist with linear details above the waistline. The lower half of the gown was a floor sweeping puffy tulle with similar linear details. Her hair were curled up in a vintage style side part and she completed her look with a nude, brown lipstick.

Amongst all of these Bollywood divas, we liked Alia Bhatt and Kareena’s look the best. Who according to you was the best dressed for the event?
