Deepika Padukone,Sonakshi Sinha, Radhika Apte: Best and Worst Dressed at GQ Men of the Year Awards
The who's who of Bollywood turned up for the mega event
GQ Men of the Year Awards saw the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance. Stars kept it fashionable on the red carpet of the awards gala. Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Diana Penty, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and other stars attended the event. With it being a star studded event lets see who featured on our best and worst dressed list.
Deepika Padukone
The queen of hearts graced the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards held last night. Miss Padukone dressed up in a sheer metallic white shirt from Swapnil Shinde which featured exaggerated bouffant sleeves. Her chic shirt was teamed with a pair of high waisted leather pants and black stilettos. Hair tied in a top knot with her signature red pout, silver shoulder dusters rounded off her minimal chic look.
Diana Penty
Diana Penty was in attendance as well. The beauty tried experimenting with her look and although we appreciate her efforts, we think it was a total mess. Diana opted for concept asymmetrical blazer from Ezra which she teamed up with black textured pants from H&M and a black Prada clutch. The outfit looked extremely off and her hair and makeup looks like is borrowed from another look.
Sonakshi Sinha
The gorgeous Sonakshi Sinha has been on a roll with her impeccable fashion sense. The beauty graced the GQ awards red carpet looking like a million bucks. Sinha donned deep grey heavily sequined ensemble featuring full sleeves and a high neck from Yanina Fashion. The outfit fitted her body perfectly and she pulled off the look with utmost elan. Her sleek hairdo and heavy metallic smokey eyes were the icings on the cake.
Nushrat Bharucha
Nushrat Bharucha looked breathtakingly beautiful in a black gown with a silver neck detail. We love how she kept her styling simple and easy so that her outfit stands out.
Bhumi Pednekar
Bhumi Pednekar has been wowing us with her fashion choices and we are in complete awe. The actress chose an Atelier Zuhra see-through gown for the award night. Her outfit was quite statement-making in its own featuring full sleeves and heavy feather ornamentation. Heavy curls with a fresh face of makeup completed her look. However, we wished that she should have opted for a sleeker hairdo to make it look cleaner.
Huma Qureshi
Huma Qureshi looked like a vision in white. She donned a white jumpsuit with full sleeves and golden button details and a plunging neckline from Balmain. Pulled back gelled hair and golden hoops rounded off her stunning look.
Chitrangada Singh
The gorgeous Chitrangada Singh marked her presence too. Singh failed to impress us with her look which included a rust gold gown which was fitted till the thigh and then had a flare silhouette. Her outfit also featured full sleeves and a deep V-neck. Open heavy beach wavy hair with dangler earrings and a dark lip finished off her look.
Esha Gupta
Esha Gupta was surely feeling the 80s. The diva came dressed in a heavily printed high neck jumpsuit featuring full sleeves. She styled her look with a broad black belt which cinched her waist and brought in a definition. Although her look makes for a pretty picture, we wish had she should have opted for a sleek top knot and heavy winged eyeliner.
Radhika Apte
Radhika Apte was in attendance too. She opted for the current flavour of the season, a pantsuit. The Sacred Games actor opted for a brown checkered 80s inspired pantsuit. She styled her look with a bright red lip, open poker straight hair and black strappy heels. This look is quite average and the fit is a little off.
All the men looked handsome and dapper. Who was the best according to you? Comment below and let me know.
