THESE are the 6 Mascara mistakes we all need to avoid
Love applying mascara, but never manage to get the desired look? Then check out these mistakes that you might be making. Avoid these mistakes and master your mascara right away.
We all love applying makeup, especially eye makeup. Applying eye makeup, not only defines our eyes and make them more attractive but it also adds more volume to our eyes. And when it comes to eye makeup, two essential products used are liner and mascara. Even if you give up on eye shadows, these two products will be more than enough to add that bounce to your eyes.
Now, when it comes to mascara all of us try hard to put the mascara in a certain way so that it provides the perfect length and volume. But even after applying mascara, if your lashes are not living up to your expectations, then trust me you are surely making some mistakes. So to attain the perfect look in future, here are 6 mascara mistakes that you should avoid.
Not curling lashes:

Yes, mascara adds volume, but to get that perfect curls, you need to use a lash curler. Make sure to use the curler before applying mascara. Curling when the lashes are hard can cause breakage.
Avoid too many coats:

We tend to apply too many coats to amp up the volume, but the truth is that more coats dry during application and give an unnatural look. If a single application of mascara isn’t giving you the volume boost you need, consider switching to a thicker formula.
Not checking the expiry of the products:

Ideally, you should invest in a new mascara after three months. Since bacteria starts to grow on the stick and inside the tube, which leads to red and itchy eyes. With a product that goes so close to the eye, you should be extra careful.
Pumping:

When you pump the stick in and out of the tube to get more product, you’re adding air to the tube. It dries out the mascara and causes it to clump when applied to the lashes.
Coating the tips:

If you want that volume, then you should avoid swiping mascara on the ends. You should wiggle the mascara wand to hit the roots and give lashes that extra lift.
Smudging:

We often apply mascara too fast and end up brushing the lashes onto the lids. So be patient while you apply the mascara, and if you still smudge it on the lids, then dab a bit of vaseline or makeup remover on a Q-tip and wipe it off. No need to redo your entire eye.
So, next time you apply mascara, keep these things in mind.
