Sara Ali Khan is bold, beautiful, outspoken, grounded, warm and freshness which Bollywood desperately needed. Apart from being gifted with amazing genes, Sara is also a super talented actress. The diva marked her debut last year with her film Kedarnath co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput. Soon after we saw on the big screen within three weeks in the superhit masala film Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh.

In a tete a tete with Vogue India, Sara revealed all about her beauty secrets, the makeup product she absolutely swears by and beauty tips which he mother has passed on to her. 

The Kedarnath actress is from the smaller lot of actresses who look absolutely stunning even without makeup. She was asked if she is open to experimenting with her beauty looks, to this the bubbly actress spilled some beans. “I recently did yellow makeup for one of my shoots and I have also done a pink mascara for Simbaa promotions that was quite experimental. I wear blue lipstick but only in the periphery of my room, because my mother does not let me wear it outside, but I shall very soon,” she said. Sara also said that she loves the bold and bright makeup, however, she has found the key to keeping her look natural and real. 

Opening the box of memories and getting nostalgic was Sara who recounts her first ever makeup encounter. This was on the sets of Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta starrer film Kya Kehna. Sara added, “I remember going to set that day and walking into her makeup room and just having a blast with her makeup team, trying on every lipstick. It was a lot of fun.” One makeup hack that she has learnt from the various makeup artists that she has learnt is that warmer the base makeup, the better your face will look. She also has this one tip which she follows for herself is that she uses minimum highlighter as it tends to make her face look big. 

When talking about her mother, the yesteryear superstar, Amrita Singh, Sara confessed that she has picked up a lot of tips and advice from her doting mum. She said, drinking lots of water, good amount of sleep and sweating it out are extremely important for oneself both physically and mentally. The 24 year old also revealed of a hack that she learnt from her mother. “Any leftover fruit from breakfast should just go straight on the face,” she added.
