Makeup tips: Alternate uses of ALL your everyday makeup products

Every girl would be lying if she said she didn't have a stash of her favourite makeup products that she doesn't use anymore. Mascara

Mascara is one beauty product which is super important. It amps up the eyelashes and gives them volume. But another thing that mascara can be used for, is as eyebrow gel! Grooming eyebrows is the next big thing and rather than splurging on eyebrow gel, you can just use your mascara on brows for it is equally pigmented and tinted and works great. 

Soap

Yes, soap is basically something we all use or cleansing our bodies, but little do people know that it can be doubled as brow wax as well! Just dip in your cleaned up spare mascara brush into a bar of soap and then brush this over your brows for feathered and well-defined brows. 

Lip liner

These days, bright eyeliner is making a big comeback. Yellow, red, pink and multi colour lined eyes are the next big thing. But many of these shades are not available in affordable drugstore brands. The next best thing? Use lip liner as an eyeliner for best results! 

Highlighter

One of the essential makeup products today, is the highlighter which produces a dewy wet look. The best part about this product? It can be dabbed on the eyelid to give off a subtle yet sparkling look. It instantly brightens up the eyes and looks absolutely effortless and dewy. 

Eyeshadow 

Powdered eyeshadow is one of the best things that has happened to the beauty industry. It blends well on the eyelid and can instantly brighten up the face. But the best part? It can also be used to define, darken and fill in brows and makes for the perfect alternative to brow powder which essentially does the same job!

Lipstick

One of the essentials of every makeup lover, lipstick has many alternative uses. Apart from perking up the lips, it can be used as a blush or eyeshadow when blended really well. Since lipsticks are extremely pigmented, just a dab of it on the area will do the trick and instantly add more colour to the entire face!
