All of us want to have long thick luscious hair and we use multiple products to strengthen our locks and to achieve our desired hair length and style. We use all kinds of serums, shampoos and conditioners, but sometimes despite all this, our hair ends up looking lifeless and dry. Stress, pollution and lifestyle contribute to the health of our hair but more than that what we eat also matters the most. When it comes to food, ghee is one such ingredient that's vastly available in every Indian household from ages. Ghee is not only good for taste and flavour but also aids digestion. And now what if we tell you that Ghee is also good for your hair? Yes, ghee can do wonders to your hair. It has vitamin A that keeps the hair healthy and Vitamin D that helps fight hair loss. Ghee has fatty acids that can help the quality of your hair from the inside out.
Here are some ways you can use ghee on your hair and add some shine to your locks.
Use it as a conditioner:

Yes, there are many high-end air conditioners in the market, but the most organic and affordable conditioner that'll work the best for your hair is ghee. It has no added chemicals that make your hair rough and cause damage to the scalp. Take two tablespoons of ghee with one tablespoon of olive oil, mix it well and store it in a bottle. Start using it after every wash to achieve softer hair.
Use it to detangle knots:

Detangling the knots can not only be painful, but it's also a task. And apart from being painful, they're also harmful. Tangled hair is more prone to breakage and thinning. Hence, to detangle your hair swiftly, put little ghee on your hair after washing it. It will not only detangle your hair but will also make it more manageable.
For dandruff:

Dandruff can be irritating at times and especially when the flakes constantly keep on falling on our clothes. Use ghee to see a remarkable difference in your scalp. Massage your scalp with lukewarm ghee and almond oil and wash it off with rose water. Do this twice a month and see the outcome yourself.
Helps with split ends:

Split ends make your hair thin and also contribute to hair fall. But by using ghee you can easily goodbye to split ends. Take ghee for your hair, and use a wide-toothed comb to spread it through your split ends. Let it stay for 10 to 15 minutes before washing it with shampoo.
For hair growth:

Ghee nourishes your scalp and stimulates hair growth. Massage your scalp with some hot ghee and let it stay for about 20 minutes before you rinse your hair. Then, use a mild shampoo to wash your hair. Do this at least twice a week, and you will eventually see the results.
Prevents grey hair:

Grey hair with time makes sense, but premature greying of hair can be annoying and embarrassing at the same time. In case you have some unwanted grey strands, use ghee on your hair to get rid of the greys. Apply hot ghee on hair and wrap your hair in a towel for 15 minutes, then rinse off with a mild shampoo. Ghee is not only a super-food, but it’s superb for skin and hair care as well.
