Do you have scanty eyebrows? Here’s how you can fake them with makeup to make it look NATURAL

Eyebrows just enhance the beauty of the face and there’s no denying that. They give definition to the face by setting a palette for you to work with your makeup. Even if you are not a big makeup person, a well-defined eyebrow can also make you look good without any makeup on the rest of your face. While Indians are known to be quite hairy in that department, some people do have less hair when it comes to their eyebrows. While that is not an issue (we are all in for embracing natural beauty!), a lot of people do like to fill them in. It is necessary to do it the right way otherwise it will end up looking like two thin strokes of lines across your face.

Here are simple ways on how you can achieve the perfect eyebrows using makeup:

1: Brush your eyebrows:

No matter how scarce your eyebrows are it is necessary to brush them. Brushing helps you understand what is the direction your hair is growing in. this will help in the later steps when you will have to actually fill in the brows.

2: Select a colour to fill in the brows:

The most important part of filling your brows is to choose the right shade to do so. If you take the wrong colour, it will end up messing your appearance. Always set the hair on your scalp as the example for the kind of colour you want to choose. As a loose rule of thumb, dark-haired people should opt for a shade that's a little lighter than their hair colour and light-haired people should opt for a shade that's a little darker than their hair colour.

3: Fill them in:

Start by understanding and outlining the brows with a light hand. This will create a stencil for you to work with. Make sure you follow the shape of your natural brows and do not go about changing the appearance entirely. Start with the bridge of your nose and slowly move outwards. 4: Highlighter/Concealer:

If you have made any mistakes, make sure to outline the eyebrows with a concealer. You can also highlight the high points over your brow to make it look more put together. A highlighter pencil can also help lift your eyes and emphasize your arch, making your eyebrows pop a little more.

5: Eyebrow gel:

Now, to lock everything in place, apply a clear brow gel so that your real eyebrow hair can behave in the manner you want them to.
