We've all struggled with dandruff. Every now and then we end up with loads of dandruff on our scalp that is too stubborn to go away. Battling with dandruff is very difficult and if that wasn't enough, there are certain skin conditions that can cause dandruff on eyelashes and eyebrows. Dandruff on your eyebrows and eyelashes can very irritating and frustrating. Though it is recommended that you check in with your dermatologist if you suffer from this problem before you try a home remedy. This is simply a precautionary measure because dandruff is not really a serious health condition that we need to worry about. Some easy home remedies can cure this problem without any hassle. Be very careful while you use these remedies and avoid using any chemical-based products.

Here are some easy home remedies for eyelashes and eyebrow dandruff.

1. Almond Oil

Dandruff can dry up your skin and it is essential to hydrate it and almond oil hydrates your skin and also has antibacterial properties and it also cleanses the skin. Take some almond oil and heat it a little. Ensure that it's not too hot or you will end up burning your skin. You can use an earbud to massage this oil on your eyelashes and eyebrows but you can use your fingers if you're more comfortable.

2. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera is known for its numerous health and beauty benefits. It works wonders on our hair and skin. Aloe vera soothes your skin and helps reduce the irritation. Use some aloe vera gel on your eyelashes and eyebrows and leave it for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

3. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil contains antifungal and antibacterial properties. Mildly heat some tea tree oil and apply it on your eyelashes and eyebrows using an earbud or a cotton ball. Leave it in for 5 minutes before you wash it off. Repeat this 4 times a day.

4. Lemon Juice

Lemon has citric acid which is great for the growth of your lashes and brows and it also has antifungal and antimicrobial properties. Take some freshly squeezed lemon juice and dilute it with water. Carefully apply this on your lashes and brows without letting any go in your eye. Let it stay for 5 minutes before you wash it off with cold water.
