The wedding season has already started and we just can’t wait to get into our ethnic avatar. And, after seeing the gorgeous pictures from the Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh wedding we just want to play dress up. I think more than dressing up, we want want that perfect glow for the season. We can do wonders with makeup to amp up our traditional outfits. Here are some beauty trends approved by our favourite divas.

Kohl it up

An ethnic avatar is incomplete without the classic traditional kohl or what we popularly call - the kajal. With a base of nude eyeshadow, the kohl makes the eyes pop. For a smokey effect, apply the kohl and smudge it at the edges. We think this is a classic look that will go with any outfit.

Dewy glow

The Bollywood divas are totally loving this makeup trend right now. Soft makeup with a dewy glow takes your look all the way. A little blush with dewy skin and mascara will make your skin glow in the beautiful ethnic outfit.

That nude thing

For all those embellished outfits and heavy jewellery nude makeup is the way to go. The outfit will do all the talking and the nude makeup will just compliment your ensemble.

No-makeup Makeup

Simplicity is the way to go. If there a lot going on with the outfit or if it is very bright, no-makeup makeup should be your go-to. Loose curls along with the entire look will make you look stunning.

Soft-smokey eye

On a wedding function where you have to wear million different things like the dupatta, jhumka, mang tikka and neck chokers, keeping the makeup limited to the eye will balance the entire look. Keeping the focus on the eyes with a soft smokey eye will do wonders. Pairing the look with nude mauve lips just puts it all together.
