Curtain Bangs to Long Bobs: Here are the top 3 hair trends that will be BIG in 2021
Looking for a way to switch up your look? Here are the top 3 hair trends that might excite you!
2020 has been a dud especially when it comes to all things fashion. While we’ve spent most of the year indoors, we have definitely seen quite a lot of people trying to experiment with their looks. Hair was the one thing that became an easy option to experiment with and the plethora of internet trends are definitely the ones to be blamed here. From dying your bangs blonde to cutting them into a bob, we’ve seen it all.
Now that we’ve successfully completed the first month of 2021, it’s time to take matters into our own hands (both figuratively and literally) and pick out the hair trends that are going to be big this year! After all, we’ve all realised the pain of not dressing up or going out. So it’s time to embrace this ‘new normal’ in all its glory!
Curtain Bangs
Already taking over the internet, curtain bangs is the new ‘Rachel cut’ of 2021. We’re not exaggerating when we say that people are literally obsessing over it and no matter what beauty influencer’s page you go to, everyone is trying to hop on the bandwagon. Curtain bangs are essentially longer than a fringe and give off a retro vibe to your look. A little high-maintenance in terms of styling, curtain bangs are great to frame the face.
Long bobs
We’ve seen most people cut their hair out of boredom in quarantine. This brings us to our next hair trend - the long bob which is for people who’ve grown out of their short hair. Long bobs are extremely cute and when styled perfectly, gives off a fuller look. A long bob or lob is a cut that ends right around your collarbone and looks great with soft layers at the end. Even if you’re someone who hasn’t cut their hair during quarantine and is looking for something that isn’t drastic, a long bob is the perfect pick for you!
Blunt bob
This clearly a year of going short and what’s better than to go down the classic way? A blunt bob was a big thing in the ‘60s and now, it’s coming back with a bang! Obviously, it’s a little bit of maintenance to keep the bob looking like that perfect blunt cut, but nothing that is unachievable without a handy flat iron!
