Yoo Ah In, Ra Mi Ran, Ahn Jae Hong and Oh Jung Se to feature in an upcoming superhero movie, High Five
Directed by Scandal Makers' PD, Kang Hyeong Chul, scheduled to start filming in June 2021.
It's raining star-studded movies! Come June this year, we'll have another movie being filmed and directed by an award-winning director - Kang Hyeong Chul - the maker of Sunny and Scandal Makers', considered amongst the highest grossing Korean movies of all time. The director will start filming another movie this year. According to Star News, the actors said yes to the role because of the trust in Hyeong Chul and his direction.
The cast for High Movie includes the hit Ra Mi Ran and Ahn Jae Hong, Yoo Ah In and Oh Jung Se. This movie is also gaining a lot of attention as the casting is absolutely incredible - we’ve got Reply 1988’s loveable characters Ahn Jae Hong and Ra Mi Ran (who won the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards 2021 for Best Actress) and Burning’s Yoo Ah In (who won the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards 2021 for Best Actor) in it! We also have Oh Jung Se, of When The Camilia Blooms and It’s Okay To Not Be Okay’s fame and Ahn Jae Hong of Fight For My Way’s fame.
The story of High Five is of five people gaining various superpowers after receiving an organ transplant from a man with psychic powers. This movie is going to be Kang Hyeong Chul’s new Korean work after three years. His last South Korean work was the film Swing Kids that won the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Baeksang Arts Award for Best Film Director.
The filming for it will start in June, once pre-production is completed!
