WINNER's Song Minho gets rejected by Dara on Video Star
Dara and Song Minho appeared on Video Star on March 9 episode.
In an industry where dating in the public eye is met with severe criticism, scrutiny and netizens' backlash, it is rather refreshing to see a healthy and happy friendship between a male and a female idol. The male and female idol in question are WINNER's Song Minho and 2NE1's Sandara Park who recently appeared on the popular variety and chat show, Video Star. The two are signed under YG Entertainment and are great friends with each other too.
On the March 9th episode of Video Star, Song Minho revealed which host he had a crush on when he previously appeared in 2018, and he chose none other than former 2NE1 member and fellow YG Entertainment labelmate Sandara Park. Dara, however, was quick to turn down his proposal saying she doesn't date her co-workers. Mino took the rejection on his chin and expressed that the filming went well and wanted Dara to do well, as it has been a long time since he saw her.
For the uninitiated, Video Star is a South Korean talk show hosted by Kim Sook, Park Na Rae, Park So Hyun, and Sandara Park. It airs on the MBC cable channel, MBC Every 1, on Tuesdays at 8:30 pm KST. The first episode aired on July 12, 2016. Video Star is a spin-off program based on the concept of the MBC program Radio Star.
