Why Why Why MV: iKON members depict the hurt of a regretful breakup through an emotional comeback song

iKON is one of the most underrated Korean boy groups out there! iKON was created from the survival show Mix & Match and they debuted on September 15th, 2015 under YG Entertainment. The group consists of Bobby, Jay, Ju-ne, Song, DK and Chan. On March 3 at 6 pm KST, the group released their new digital single Why Why Why along with the music video. They have marked their return to the spotlight after almost a year since the release of their album I Decide in February of 2020.

The video opens with a colourful setting but a melancholic feel to it. The lyrics express a deep sense of hurt and regret that one feels after the end of a relationship. The members express their sadness and pain in the most heartbreaking way, depicting their loved one as a  precious flower. The gentle track with a soft, yet intense melody conveys the universal emotions of heartbreak and love in a thoughtful and sentimental manner. The last shot takes us to the sight of a burning bus.
