West Indies vs Bangladesh: Match prediction
West Indies have more impactful players and hence they are the slight favourites against Bangladesh.
West Indies will take on Bangladesh in the upcoming clash in the World Cup 2019 on Monday. Both teams are in the bottom half of the table, and will be eager for a win here to consolidate their chances of a top four finish.
Bangladesh defeated South Africa in their first game and set the stage on fire, but have not managed a win thereafter. Windies, on the other hand, have been fighting well, but have not been able to register 2 points after their win against Pakistan.
Tomorrow's match will be a battle between Windies' pacers and Bangladesh's batting attack. The duo of Sheldon Cottrell and Oshane Thomas have been on fire in this edition, taking full advantage of the conditions on offer. Their batters, however, have been inconsistent, with none of the big-hitters yet playing an impactful innings.
The Tigers have been led by Shakib Al Hasan, who has contributed with both bat and ball. Their batting is more experienced, but might struggle if the conditions are overcast. Their bowlers have blown hot and cold as well - and with West Indies having plenty of problems as well, it will be an evenly balanced game.
However, considering the fact that West Indies have players who can change games in just a few overs - including Gayle, Russell, Holder or Hetmyer, they are the slight favourites.
