Bangladesh on the other hand ranks third last in the point table and has lost two games, have won only one and the match against the Lankans was called off without a ball being bowled. Shakib Al Hasan- It wouldn’t be wrong to say that this Bangladeshi player is the team’s most reliable batsman even in pressure situations. In his three games against the Proteas, Black Caps and the hosts, this stalwart player has managed to put across 75, 64 and 121 runs, respectively. His consistency in the tournament is something to watch out for. Bangladesh will rely heavily on Shakib in order to register their second win and go ahead further in the tournament.

Nicholas Pooran- This West Indian middle-order batsman has been consistent in all the three games played in the tournament. He scored a solid 63 off 73 deliveries against the host in their previous game, helping the team reach a respectable total of 212. Against the defending champions, Nicholas smashed 40 of 36 deliveries, including 5 fours and 1 six.
