Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra have kicked off promotions of their upcoming release, Namaste England. The actors launched a new song from the film, Proper Patola and interacted with the media at the press conference. The actors and the film’s director Vipul Shah were asked about their opinion on Tanushree Dutta’s allegations against Nana Patekar. Tanushree has spoken up again about the harassment she faced on the sets of the 2008 film Horn OK Pleassss. Tanushree has accused Nana Patekar of pushing her, trying to get physical with her and intimidating her when she refused to do revised choreography with intimate steps with Nana.

Arjun Kapoor had supported Tanushree Dutta in an earlier interview. Today at the press conference he said, “As a human being living in this country, as sisters in the industry, I would want women to feel safe.” Arjun said that we must understand to learn to listen first. He applauded Tanushree’s courage for speaking out about the incident. He said that all men must introspect and understand what has happened, instead of making a brouhaha about the incident. Co-star Parineeti Chopra who has tweeted that she supports Tanushree said that she wants every woman to come out and speak up, further adding that she is not taking sides as she wasn’t there.
