It's a sad time in the Indian movie industry due to veteran actor Sridevi's untimely demise. She suffered a massive cardiac arrest during her stay in Dubai at 11 pm on February 24, 2018.

Talking about her career, Sridevi's cinematic journey was one of its kind. She made her debut at the age of 4 and completed 50 years in the movie industry last year. After starring in Judaai (1997), Sridevi took a sabbatical to take care of her husband Boney Kapoor and raise her children Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. She made her comeback with English Vinglish in the year 2012 and after five years she starred in MOM which released last year.

One of her most iconic movies is Yash Chopra's love saga Lamhe which had Sridevi in a double role opposite Anil Kapoor. The movie was considered ahead of its time and was Sridevi's second outing with Yash Ji after Chandni. We got our hands on a video of Yash Chopra in conversation with Karan Johar talking about Lamhe.

He shared a tragic incident about Sridevi's father passing away while they were shooting in Manchester, London. Yash Ji said that he did not have guts to tell Sridevi, so he told her to take a break and visit her father who was in a critical condition.

After Sridevi reached India, she was devastated to know about her father's sad demise. She informed Yash Ji that she can only come back after 16 days and the legendary filmmaker assured that the team will wait for her no matter. Upon coming back from India, Sridevi like a thorough professional completed the shoot of the film.
