Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma held a wedding reception in New Delhi on December 21, 2017.
On December 11, 2017, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy amongst close friends and family. A joint statement by Virushka was shared on Twitter which read as, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."
Last night, the couple held their grandeur and royal wedding reception in New Delhi. Amongst those in attendance was Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi as well as cricketers Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan. Both the bride and groom were seen in Sabyasachi outfits.
Anushka made for a gorgeous bride in a red benarasi weave saree with gold motifs detail which she teamed with a matching blouse. Styling her look with a heavy necklace, matching earrings, the actress rounded her look out with a red bindi, a matching red lip and hair tied up in a center-parted bun with sindoor.
Virat looked classy in a monochrome bandhgala look with a printed shawl.
We got our hands on an inside-the-venue video where Virat and Anushka are seen letting their hair down and dancing with acclaimed Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan to one of his songs. The cherry on top is that Virat is singing to Anushka and doing the bhangra as Anushka shyly dances along.
