Salman Khan was asked about Priyanka Chopra walking out of his film, Bharat at the trailer launch of Loveratri, which stars debutants, Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain.
Salman Khan starrer Bharat has been making headlines for a few weeks now as Priyanka Chopra walked out of the project, two days after the movie went on floors. Back then, director Ali Abbas Zafar had confirmed the news and tweeted that there was a special reason as to why Priyanka opted out of Bharat. While many say that it was her engagement to Nick Jonas, Priyanka has also signed her next Hollywood movie, Cowboy Ninja Viking, opposite Chris Pratt as the female lead.
Salman has kept mum about the issue ever since the news was broken but at the trailer of Loveratri, which stars debutants Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain, the actor was asked about Priyanka's departure from his film. To this, Salman dodged the question in between and stated, "I have not been reading the newspapers from the past few days as I have been busy with Loveratri. Once I read it, I will call you and tell you about it."
When asked about the progress of Bharat, Salman stated, "I think you have come to the wrong press conference, I have a doubt. There are no talks of Bigg Boss or Bharat but you will surely be called for that when it happens."
Now, that is an interesting way to dodge the bullet, bhai style!
With Priyanka Chopra out of Bharat, Katrina Kaif will be stepping into the actress' shoes instead. Katrina had earlier worked with Salman and Ali in Tiger Zinda Hai which was a blockbuster at the box office.
