Deepika Padukone seeks divine blessings ahead of Padmavati's release.
Deepika Padukone was spotted at the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh today. Deepika seeked blessings of Lord Venkateswara with her parents and her sister. Close friends Farah Khan and Dinesh Vijan also accompanied Deepika today. Deepika’s upcoming film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has been facing several issues. Many organizations have been opposing the film. We came across a video, in which Deepika can be seen with her parents and sister Anisha as they wait to enter the temple premises.
Deepika had recently spoken up about the hurdles the team was facing in releasing the film and had said, “We have faced many challenges but still, we stand up with the same spirit and keep on going. Nothing can stop us.’’
About the film, Deepika had said in an interview, "According to me, the film has already released. It's that kind of an excitement. I can't wait, as we know what all is there in the movie and how much is left for us to show the audience. I feel that the film should release now. It's been extremely overwhelming and tiring as well. There was a lot of hard work and challenges that we had to face. We've still overcome those and did what we wanted to do. With the same spirit, we'll go forward and nothing can stop this film.Her soul is in me and I can feel her in my system for many years. I don't think it's going to leave my system for a while. It's her power, it's her strength, it's her conviction, it's her courage."
